things my parents fought over when i was younger, in no particular order:
burnt rice, the proverbial rathole, perishable food, rich conversation, thin white women w/ PhDs, liquid detergent, triage nurses, paperwork, slim and sexy women, ecomog, chlorox, ladies of the 90s, dutch ovens (ew– not that kind), inadequate use of a spa lady membership, proper use of the clutch, preventive health, chicken feet, Jean Welsh, M.D., repeatedly receiving pieces of fitness equipment as gifts, metabolism, cholesterol medicine, air fresheners, palm oil, using ice cubes to chill wine, palm butter, americana – latin american supermarket, etc.
